Balie West-Vlaanderen×Barreau de Lille×Kent Law Society

After years of cooperation and exchange between the former Kortrijk bar, now Balie West-Vlaanderen and the closest (neighbouring) bar of Lille, the Kent Law Society became the third partner in this collaboration in 2025. The objective of this collaboration remains to share knowledge across borders, to assist colleagues from the other bars, to offer exchange opportunities to the members of our bars, to organise conferences on a regular basis,… Last year, the conference took place in Canterbury, where two legal themes were addressed. This year, the Balie West-Vlaanderen will in turn organise the conference on 30/10/2026 and two legal themes will again be addressed, specifically cross-border inheritance and family law. The location is still to be determined. Save the date now.
